Butterheads are thick-leaved with a sweet buttery flavour. Soft, leafy and delicious, with a slight sweetness. With it’s nice big leaves it also works great for wraps and in sandwiches.
Romaines have an earthy flavour with crisp, succulent and crunchy texture. It grows in tall heads of sturdy dark leaves. Works in just about every way you can imagine: salads, sandwiches, sides… try it with anything!
Batavias have great flavour, with shiny, crispy leaves. It’s a perfect leaf base to build your salad around, working well solo or mixed with other types of lettuce.
Oakleaf has a sweet but nutty taste, with deep gentle lobes. Its curls and frills give it a vibrant look on the plate, and is a great accompaniment to other lettuce types or as a side to main dishes.
Arugula (also known as Rocket) has a unique peppery kick that amplifies the flavours of salads, sandwiches, pastas and sauces. Bright, tart and slightly bitter with a hint of spice.
Our variety of fresh herbs add vibrant flavour notes to your dishes – as part of a salad, garnish or as ingredients in your cooking. We offer mint, parsley, basil, dill and coriander.
